Hosted Exchange 2010 & Exchange 2013 Public Folder Permissions
Posted by Jay Allred on 29 April 2015 04:25 PM

Public Folders are a helpful way to share Contacts or a Calendar in Hosted Exchange. One issue that has come to BizCom Support's attention is that if a customer unknowingly modifies the Default User permission on their Public Folder it could make their Public Folder data visible to other Hosted Exchange customers.

To avoid this situation please do not change the the permissions for the Default User on any of your Public Folders. Again, doing so will potentially share your Public Folder data with other Hosted Exchange customers.

If you have any questions please open a suport ticket.

Thanks,

BizCom Support
