Adding a Google Map Widget to your Pages

You can add Google maps to your page within the CMS. To do this, follow these instructions:

  1. Open a new browser and go to maps.google.com
  2. Type in your physical address and hit enter
  3. Next, locate and click the Link button
  4. Select the “Paste HTML to embed in website” code and right click and select copy
  5. Go back to your CMS browser tab or window and click on the Widget Zones feature.
  6. Click on Add Widget Zone tab
  7. Enter the name of your map widget and click Add
  8. Click on the Add New Widget tab
  9. Select the Google Map option and click Add
  10. Once the widget displays, click the Pencil icon to edit
  11. Click the cursor inside the box and right click your mouse and select paste to paste in the google map code and click OK
  12. Next, go back to the Control Panel by clicking the orange Control Panel link
  13. Click Manage Site Content and select the page to the left that you want to add a widget and click Edit Page
  14. Once the page loads, grab the Widget tool on the right in the toolbox and drag and drop it onto the edit zone you want it in
  15. Select the Map Widget you created and click OK
  16. Click Save and Publish Now on the top right

You have no successfully created a Google Map widget on your page.
