Configure Outlook for Hosted Exchange 2013 POP3, IMAP, SMTP Service

Below are the steps to configure Outlook (2007/2010/2013) for Hosted Exchange 2013 POP3 or IMAP access.

1. Open Control Panel and then click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook 20xx) (32-bit)

2. Click on Show Profiles

3. Click on Add and type in a name for the Outlook profile

4. On the Auto Account Setup page click Manual setup or additional server types and click Next

5. Click POP or IMAP and click Next

6. Enter your name and email address and the following server info:

Account Type: POP3

Incoming server:

Incoming server port: 110 (default) or 995 (secure)

Outgoing server (SMTP):

Outgoing server port: 465


Account Type: IMAP

Incoming server:

Incoming server port: 143 (default) or 993 (secure)

Outgoing server (SMTP):

Outgoing server port: 465 (Secure - us TLS)

*Note - If you have web hosting account with BizCom you may also be able to use as the server address in all fields. Please check with BizCom Support.

7. Enter your email address for your username and the password you were provided

8. Click the More Settings button and the Outgoing Server settings tab and click the check box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

9. Click on the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 465

10. If you would like to use the secure incoming (POP3) port click the box next to "This server reuires an encrypted connection (SSL)" (You will see the port number change to 995) and click OK

11. Click Next (Outlook will test the settings), click close on the test, and then click Finish

Verify that you can send and receive email.
